SALT exists because the gap between an idea drawn in one country and an object made in another is where most projects lose their quality. Closing that gap is the whole job.

01 Why SALT exists

Positioning

Not a sourcing agent. Not a single factory.

SALT is a production and execution partner. We help international agencies, brands and companies turn physical ideas into well-made, well-managed and reliably delivered outcomes across China and Asia.

That means combining things that usually sit in different places: international client understanding, agency-minded collaboration, direct-brand experience, local production knowledge, supplier and factory coordination, product development, tooling, quality coordination, international logistics and on-the-ground execution.

We work through agencies as a local production partner, and we work directly with brands, in-house teams and overseas companies. Often we work quietly, as an extension of someone else's team.

    Figo Zhang has approximately fifteen years of relevant experience across events, brand production and execution.

    European agencies since 2018

    The team has collaborated with European agencies since 2018, working to their standards, their review cycles and their working hours.

    Direct-client experience

    Work has come both through agencies and directly from brands and companies. Both routes are familiar, and neither is treated as the default.

    Produced in China, delivered to Europe

    Projects have been produced in China and delivered as completed work to Europe, including the packing, documentation and freight coordination that requires.

    Experience relating to international retail, fashion and consumer-brand projects, where finish and consistency are the point.

    Works across client communication, project coordination and production management, keeping international teams and local suppliers aligned from brief through to delivery.
